In late 2008 TheMightyOne released his debut self titled album. The first single 'Reprieved' was produced by Devin Townsend (Steve Vai, Strapping Young Lad, The Devin Townsend Project) and mixed by the legendary Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Metallica, Cult) at Bryan Adams Warehouse Studio in Vancouver Canada. Devin mixed the balance of the album including a German version of 'Reprieved'. As of April 1, 2010 TheMightyOne has tracked over 750,000 plays (since November 2009) at www.numberonemusic.com/themightyone and continues to consistently rank in the top three for modern rock with bands such as Linkin Park, Flyleaf, Paramore and 30 Seconds to Mars with an average of 8-10,000 plays per day. A video for 'Reprieved' is now completed and will soon be released as part of a national radio and t.v. promotional campaign. Here is a still action trailer. Pre-production for a second album is well under way for a new recording. The new album will once again feature Ryan R.V.P. Van Poederooyen on drums and other special guest performances yet to be announced. Talks are also underway with some other well known producers that have taken a personal interest in TheMightyOne. Stay tuned... It's getting exciting!
